Violet Boutique

Building furniture is one of my favorite things in the world to do. But one of my other loves is design. Good (or bad) design can say so much about a person or place. It can tell you stories, it can show you humor, it can put you in a good mood, there's so many things a person can get from design. I have recently had the opportunity to team up with a close friend who shares similar feelings. Elizabeth Hooks has been in the world of design, spacial planning, buying, and management for almost a decade. She attended flagler college and graduated with a degree in comunications snd a minor in spanish, there she moved on to continue her schooling in luxury fashion management at savannah college of art and design and from there got a job working for a very well known women's clothing and home good store where she was a buyer, designer, and a merchandiser. She has been sought after to help with spacial planning and design from a number of boutiques and stores in Savannah, Austin, and Philly, where she has resided untill recently when her and her husband Chris were blessed with their baby girl, Margaux! Now in Jacksonville Elizabeth and I have created a company called the Hook & Co. Creative. We specialize in retail and commercial remodels, design, spacial planning, and identity concepts.
We were approached by a women's clothing boutique, called violet, to update the identity and completely remodel the look of the store. Our client couldn't of been easier to work with! She already had good bones to work with so we took some of her ideas and ran with it. Such a fun job! Thanks again Texie! -john
